Wise Owls

The original Wise Owl was a macrame hanging that Deloise made for us when she visited shortly after Kathryn was born (at least I think it was after Kathryn’s birth). I don’t remember where it hung when we were in the North, but I know it was indoors. When we moved to Port Coquitlam, Wise Owl found a home on the deck. Over the years Wise Owl became weather-worn and eventually started to fall apart. When we moved to Powell River, sadly we had to leave Wise Owl behind.

When I saw these cute owl wall hangings as an option for one of the Guild’s Project Tuesdays I knew immediately that my grandchildren needed a Wise Owl of their own. I finished them just in time for back to school presents.

I feel like the luckiest Grandma in the world when I get a photo of my grandkids with something I’ve made just for them!
