I caught myself in time! The last Jodi Picoult book I picked up was one I had previously read. When I picked this up off the bookshelf I read the cover to be sure it wasn’t familiar. I even checked my website to make sure I hadn’t already read it. It wasn’t until page 11 that I remembered I had read the book and I remembered the story. I don’t know why I didn’t review it at the time; I went back to some archived books that were never added to this site but it didn’t show up there either. I’ve just now checked with Goodreads and it is listed there as having been read.

My comment then was, “I didn’t like this one as much as I’ve enjoyed her previous books.” That is pretty much the way I remember it now.
