I’ve been cutting and prepping projects all day, with a break to do some shopping and run a couple of errands. I delivered the quilt to my friend; when I gave her the gift bag her immediate reaction was, “I don’t have to pay?” so it was the right choice. I needed some masking tape so I can stick up a design wall for the weekend and I did some grocery shopping. I stopped at the liquor store for a few refreshments; it should be a good weekend.
Here’s the plan.
We probably won’t get at any stitching until the afternoon on Friday so I planned a shorter day with three Splendid Sampler and four Circa 2016 blocks. Saturday I’ll work on my Farmer’s Wife blocks; I have at least a dozen ready to stitch. Sunday I’ll work on my Celtic Crystals; I have two blocks prepped and I hope to get at least a couple more done. Monday we’ll only get half a day in so I’ll take my Blossoms English paper piecing quilt; I can pack up on Sunday night and stitch by hand until it is time to leave on Monday. I have a knitting project that is easy to take along to work on during the ferry crossings.
Sound like a plan?
