I’ve been working on cards all day today. Of the six cards that should be in the mail immediately I have three finished and I’ll get them in the mail tomorrow. I finished one up this morning and took it straight to the post office; it may still be late in arriving but at least it is on its way. It certainly helps to be using some of my Splendid Sampler blocks, although with all the cards this month my stack will be depleted quickly.
Since there are no cards to show for the day I’ll share a few yard photos that I took yesterday.
Whenever I come or go from the house the scent of lilacs greet me; I also have bouquets of them in the house. Powell River has lilacs on almost any street you drive down. I’m not sure what this green plant is called but every year it threatens to take over the sidewalk; the blossoms are huge.
It looks like we’ll get a good crop of blueberries and currents.
The Lily of the Valley plants were slow in coming up and we thought we might have lost them but they showed up and are beautiful. I have planters and baskets full of strawberries in blossom (both white and red).
