I did a bit of cleaning this morning and then came upstairs to do some cross stitching. Shortly after lunch Pat suggested a walk. It was a lovely day; I wore a sweater but it wasn’t long before I was carrying it. I find it hard to ditch my sweaters after the winter; it used to be scarves but I seldom wear one for warmth now but I do notice that I hesitate to put my sweater away.

We went out of our way getting home and stopped for an ice cream cone. The Beach Hut has been open for a few weeks, as has the mini golf, but this was our first taste of the year. The Beach Hut sells soft ice cream and the mini golf has several different flavours of regular ice cream. It is hard to choose a favourite – soft or hard, and if you pick hard what flavour.

I came home to do a bit more cross stitch before dinner. I don’t know what Pat has planned, but it sure smells good!
