I’ve been having problems with the mail delivery program for my Journal. I’ll wait to see if the posts from yesterday and today come through all at once tonight. If not, I’ll have to dig a bit deeper into the problem to see if I can figure out what is going on.

Although I had an early start to the day I haven’t been very productive. I had to set the alarm because I had an early eye appointment this morning. Apparently the “needing to take my glasses off all the time” was a sign that my prescription needed to be changed. The doctor recommended new frames so I’ll take Pat up to the office one day to help me pick something out.

I had drops in my eyes but because it was such a grey and stormy day I didn’t even need the usual sun protective glasses. I dropped a few items off at the post office before heading home. By the time I sat and had a cup of coffee I couldn’t stand being idle any longer so I came upstairs and picked out some fabric for my Friday project. When that was done I turned one light on and decided I could do some cutting for one of my two remaining Valentine’s. When that was done I turned on my sewing machine and started stitching; next I turned the light on for my ironing board. By the time I finished the Valentine my room was completely lit and I wasn’t having any problem.

After lunch I didn’t have much energy to tackle the last Valentine or my Friday project so I decided to have a nap. Two hours later I got up to find Pat napping on the couch. I guess these House Concerts and visits with guests are harder on us than we think they will be.

For what remains of the afternoon I’ll do a little uke practicing!
