Author: Mary Henley Rubio
I read Lucy Maud’s published journals; this biography is written by one of the editors of those journals. There are details in this book that fill in the gaps and answer some of the questions that Maud didn’t reveal in her journals.
I don’t know why I’m so obsessed with Lucy Maud. I don’t think I’ve read all of the Anne books; I received Pat of Silver Bush as a gift from my parents and have read it a few times but none of her books are my favourites.
Sadly, her life was nowhere near as happy as the lives of her fictional characters.
