Yesterday afternoon, after I finished my 9-patches, I cut batting and backing for two of my projects. I was all ready to get at the quilting this morning. After breakfast we were talking about the party we were going to tonight. I asked Pat if he had a gift for Dan; he asked back if I had a card for him. While Pat went out and took care of the gift I came upstairs and took care of the card.

Dan is a musician friend, and there will music being made at the party tonight, so the notes seemed appropriate.
