This was another selection for the library’s book club, and again it arrived too late for me to participate in the discussion.

I seldom read non-fiction, and I don’t think I’ve ever read a travel book. It is well written and I admire people who can find important visions of self-discovery in the things they see in their travels.

I can’t really recommend the book, but it has made me interested in reading The Secret Lie of Bees, which was more or less one of the discoveries made on this journey.
