I’ve spent all day with my tablecloth and I’m almost finished the stitch-in-the-ditch quilting. I improved my time to just over an hour for a block, but I still have to go back and do the straight line stitching with the alternate thread colour. And let’s not forget about all those ends that need to be tied in.

It wasn’t all bad though as iTunes played me a lot of Leonard Cohen, Liz Story and Mary Jane Lamond. It is almost time to quit for the day, and it is definitely time for an afternoon drink. I’ll keep at it a bit longer – I think my bobbin will run out of thread before I run out of seams.
