Happy Birthday Jackie is a title you might have expected to see today. I could tell you her card is in the mail, but that would be a lie. I’m still working on her card, and I’ll hand-deliver it it next week!.

I had a good time at the festival yesterday; lots of friends and familiar faces. We came home with a couple of CDs; one from our friend Scott Cook (a gift from him). I was disappointed that Melissa, his upright bass player, wasn’t here for the show; she was off on a tour of her own. Her replacement was great, but I’d been looking forward to seeing Melissa. I also purchased a CD from another performer; I hope it doesn’t end up like many of my festival CDs that seem to be forgotten a week after the festival.

Pat returned to the site today, but not before he picked all the apples off the tree. I guess I’m going to have to do something with them, but I’m not sure what. They won’t get done until I’m finished my sewing though.
