It was another hot day, but now that it is evening we have a nice cooling breeze coming off the ocean. I don’t know if there are showers in the air, but it seems a bit misty out towards Sliammon; I can see it over the water from my studio window.

I was at the bee today and accomplished quite a lot. I took a small leader and ender project for an eventual donation quilt. I had a few more cards cut out but one of the women that one of the cards was intended for was at the bee so I felt I shouldn’t work on them. I finished up the squares for the donation quilt and then stitched together all the blocks in my Fat Cats and Dogs quilt. There was a much smaller crowd today and I guess it was easier to concentrate.

After a stop at the Recycle Centre I sat out on the back deck and caught a bit of the developing breeze until Pat called me in for dinner. I am ready to cast off my knitting project, but we’ve turned off the TV for the night so I’ll leave that until another time. I’ll finish my book tonight and perhaps do a little clean-up work in my studio so I’m ready to go first thing in the morning.
