I’m running late so it’s a good thing there isn’t much to write about. I declared today to be “Card Day” and made a start on my May cards. There are a lot of occasions in May and even doing cards once a week may not keep me up to date with what is needed. I made a good start though as I have two card tops done and three more started.

I’m off to the BOND Christmas dinner tonight. Usually they have a dinner for the entire organization (of which BOND is just one part) in January. I know they’ve had a change in management and, when I didn’t hear anything in January, I thought perhaps they weren’t doing it or that the volunteers were no longer included. Turns out they are just late getting it organized this year.

I thought (briefly) about going out to work in the yard today but decided indoors needed the attention just as much. For a day that was supposed to be rainy it certainly was nice, although I see a few clouds forming now. We had a brief and distant display from the Snowbirds this afternoon as they went through their training in Comox.
