Stacia sent me a link to a video tutorial for a fold and sew technique. I was intrigued and, since I needed a card, I decided to try it out for Pat’s birthday. It was more difficult than it looked, but we are both happy with the results!

The pinwheel in the centre isn’t stitched down so there is a nice 3D effect. And the open pocket in the corner was just right for hiding a gift card!

The coloured pieces are from one of my favourite fabric lines and were made entirely from my stash.
