I finished off a couple more projects today. All these weekend projects need to be sandwiched, quilted and bound, but at least I have a photo for the quilt show entry form.

The photo doesn’t show up well because it is a piece of cream lace on an ecru background. It is the last part of the My Crazy Life triptych. Yes, I learned a new word today! It will be fancied up with some buttons, embroidery and whatever else I can find to add to it in the time I have.

This was the Guild challenge for the year – Canada, Eh! We received a red and white charm and a size limitation but after that it was up to us. I had a different pattern in mind, but it didn’t fit within the measurements so I went with a simple maple leaf surrounded by a log cabin. What could be more Canadian than that!
