Changes

I’ve been thinking about changes to my website for a long time; it’s been three years since I did an upgrade. Pat and I talked about how hard it would be to do. Provided I have everything on the current site correctly tagged and categorized it should be pretty easy. I started doing that this afternoon and, after only a short while, I realize that is going to be the hard part.

This morning I started (and finished) a birthday gift for Taylor. I really do love these small projects! I wanted to have it ready for the mail tomorrow, but I need to get more packing tape. The way I package parcels the tape will hold them together in case the cardboard disintegrates while it makes its trip.

I have several projects packed up for the bee tomorrow. I don’t plan on taking my machine because I think all my time will involve cutting. I have a mystery quilt weekend coming up and there are a lot of cutting instructions to be followed. The cutting needs to be done ahead of class if there is any hope of finishing over the weekend.

I’m also starting an appliquéd quilt for Taylor. This will be her “real” birthday present and I hope to have it done for when I go down for Beauty and the Beast in February. It is a kit and, on paper, it looks like it should be a quick project.

And last but not least I’ll be working on a card for Will’s birthday.
