Remember the gift card we got from Canadian Tire when we bought our tree?
This morning while I went to the grocery store for baking supplies, Pat went out to spend it. He came home with a lamp; the lamp I use for my crafting when we watch TV has an ominous hum and we thought we should replace it.
Surprisingly I was home before Pat. Is that a sign I’m not doing enough baking?
As Pat was putting the lamp together he realized it had a defect so we both went back to Canadian Tire to see what we could find. The “really good” lights were more than $50 so we started wandering the aisles.
It took some time, but we came home with a roasting pan for the Christmas turkey, a metal thingy to set under the turkey as it cooks, some light bulbs and a couple of sets of glass bowls with lids for storing Christmas leftovers.
All very practical don’t you think?
