This murder mystery is set in the Soviet Union during the last days of the Stalin regime. Party propoganda dictates that the country is free of all crime  and Leo, a member of the MGB, maintains his status by promoting this myth. But when he sees first hand the similarities in two victims he is convinced there can be only one killer and suspects there are more victims. Putting himself, his family and colleagues at personal risk, he sets out to find the killer.
