I slept in this morning; it was almost nine before I got up. Actually I was awake at my usual early time but I was able to go back to sleep today. I had a nice phone visit with Diane; it doesn’t matter how often we chat it is never often enough and we go on and on and on. The morning was almost over before I got started on anything.
I had a couple of things I needed to go out for but realized one of the things on my list was the Guild deposit. Since I hadn’t done any bookkeeping or blog updates since the last meeting there was some catching up to do before preparing the deposit. By the time it was done I had convinced myself the errands could wait until Wednesday and I could have a full day at home.
I put up a few Christmas decorations between loads of laundry. Most of my decorations are in the shed but when I went to retrieve them they were buried under some of Pat’s music equipment. We’ll have to do some sorting in there before I can get at them; I know Pat has mentioned he wanted to get some of that stuff inside and there are a couple of hidey-holes full of stuff that could go out there.
I was also checking the space in the shed for BOND groceries. We are cooking the BOND Christmas dinner tomorrow and, because I am so close to the Church we hold it in, the ingredients get stored here overnight. There was lots of room in the fridge and freezer though so I hoped I wouldn’t need the shed for any storage. I was just finished a late lunch when one of the coordinators dropped by with the groceries. I squeezed everything into the fridge and freezer and I have a few bags that are fine to be left out on the counter overnight.
I don’t know where it went, but the afternoon is gone. I’ll enjoy a long evening of TV and knitting. Parenthood is my latest Netflix obsession.
