One week

September 18, 2014

Just one week before we head to Vancouver on our way to Ireland. When I realized that this morning my stomach was in knots. Was I excited? Was I nervous? Was I worried about how much I have to do before we leave? I think it was a bit of all of those things.

I was back at my regular Red Cross shift today. Clearly they got along just fine without me as there was no backlog of data entry or inventory to take care of. I was out the door by 2:15 – that hasn’t happened in a long time.

Tonight is our Guild potluck – I made a bean salad to take. The Program Committee will reveal the classes and demos for the coming year. I’ve already signed up for a class in November but the class was really a part of last season’s program.

I finished my last pair of yoga socks last night and I’ve started a new project – a cowl made from yarn I picked up at a pervious Stash Reduction sale.
