With thanks to the good company of Peggy and Bill, the wait in Comox for our evening flight flew by. The first leg of our trip took us to Calgary and we had what I thought was going to be a three-hour wait. After about an hour I realized my time hadn’t switched and there was only an hour left before we boarded the night flight to Toronto. I took a gravol before we left Calgary and I slept most of the way. We expected to arrive at seven, but we were landing shortly after six; our 7AM arrival is the Ireland trip. If I’m going to be a jet setter I have got to get these time changes sorted out!

Toronto was very warm and humid but it was just a quick walk to the car rentals and we were on our way out of the big city before seven. I can now say I’ve been on the “401” – thankfully we were traveling against the rush hour traffic. Not surprisingly Pat seemed to know exactly where we should be headed.

We were able to check into our accommodation as soon as we arrived. It is a nice little place and close to shopping and restaurants. I had a brief nap while Pat spent an hour on the phone trying to sort out an Internet connection problem. It didn’t get resolved but we are getting a good discount for our troubles.

Right now we are sitting in a coffee shop and catching up on our electronic lives. It will be a quiet day I think; maybe a bit more exploring or maybe a nap!
