I worked an extra shift at the Red Cross this morning, but first I had to have some tests done at the hospital. It meant fasting so there was no breakfast for me before I left; not even a cup of coffee! I didn’t wait long to be called in and I had the Loan Cupboard door open by 9:30. It was a busy return morning so there was plenty of washing to do, but there weren’t any loans.
I went directly from the hospital to the Guild for what was left of the sewing bee. I knew I wouldn’t get much done, but every little stitch puts my Tuesday project closer to being finished. After the bee Carola and I stopped off at the dollar store. I have a new “thing” I want to make and needed some supplies, and I needed some fancy-ish clips to hold my yoga socks together for the sale. I was standing at the door waiting for Carola to finish when I spied those eye-glass chains so went back through the check-out with one. No more losing my glasses under my fabric at the sewing machine!
I’m catching up on a Netflix series (Pat saw a couple of seasons on “real” TV) so I’ll be back at my yoga socks while I watch tonight.
