For quite awhile now I’ve had a project that I only worked on at the Tuesday bees. Since I started my plan of doing a card and a Farmer’s Wife block each day that I sew, I realize that nothing much except cards and Farmer’s Wife blocks are getting done. My bee project involved carting two containers each week; one container had the cut-out pieces for the project and the other was my spare fabric in case I messed up and had to re-cut something (as happened today).

Last night I came up with a new plan. I was so tired that I didn’t feel much like sorting through fabric and patterns for today’s card and block. Since my “bee” project hadn’t been unpacked since last week it was easy to pick up. I was amazed at how much I got done on it in just one session. So from now on Tuesday will be reserved for my bee project (no cards, no FW block).

If I follow this new plan I may get these Christmas gifts done before Christmas after all!
