I finished my daily card and Farmer’s Wife quilt block before two today. I had to redo a section on each of the blocks, but I was pleased to be done so quickly. That left me time to work on something else.

I decided I’d better get a start on some Guild work so I took care of my pizza box block. The theme for this box was Rose Garden. I looked at a few patterns online but found a rose block in one of my 30’s reproduction books. It is a simple appliqué and it looks pretty plain compared to the others in the box but at least it is done.

And speaking of flowers and such – here is the view down into the yard from my cutting table.
