I had hoped to get three things finished at the bee today but I fell short of that goal. Projects one and two (cards) were done by lunch time but I had problems with project three. I knew the pattern was open to interpretation, and I interpreted it completely wrong. My brain stopped functioning at about one o’clock; sadly it took me until close to two to realize it! I needed a refresher lesson in quarter-square triangles, so I packed everything up and headed home.

I don’t know if it was the wonderful sunshine today, but everyone was out of the bee early. I’ll have to do my blog report for the Guild and, perhaps, there will be enough time to review a lesson or two before attempting that third project again.

I have a book in at the library so I’ll wander across and pick it up before they close. My sock saga is still ongoing – I never seem to run out of things to do (or, in the case of those socks, things to redo)!
