Read this again and enjoyed it on the third reading as much as the previous two. Bree, Roger and Jem have settled into life on the Ridge. Claire and Jamie have been able to overturn an accusation of murder and Stephen Bonnet has been dealt with. When Bree and Roger’s daughter is born with a heart defect the family decides to go back through the stones to present day Scotland.

This is the sixth novel in the Outlander series and I can honestly say I am not a bit tired of the story. There were only a couple of things I remembered in this book from previous readings, although for most of the thousand pages all the events seemed new.
