I had my gingerbread cake and whipped cream ready for the bee, but before I left I wanted to finish up one birthday card and get the last of my parcels wrapped for the mail. Most of the morning was gone before I finished, and after waiting in the line-up at the Post Office it was too late to attend and be productive.

And I do need to be productive. While wrapping, I realized I had two more gifts to make, not counting the ones for the BOND Christmas party. I finished up one of those gifts this afternoon, but it went together so quickly I’ve now decided I’ll make a companion piece to go with it.

I notice all the Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Cyber Week sales have end dates. I wish my Christmas to-do list had an end date. If possible I’d probably still be stitching on the 24th! There’s always next year for those projects that don’t get done on time.

And don’t worry about that gingerbread and whipped cream. It won’t be wasted!
