I wanted to go to my Red Cross shift a bit early today as I had a doctor’s appointment at 3:15. If I waited until noon I wouldn’t have had time to do my usual double shift. But I didn’t finish up that Christmas present last night so that was first on my list for today.

I hand stitched this morning until about 10:30 (when it was done) which gave me plenty of time to get to the hospital by eleven. I cleared the backlog of equipment on my shift and even managed to do a bit of the long-overdue paperwork. I wanted to leave the hospital by three, but it was ten past when I got to my car in the parking lot. It is a good thing the doctor’s office is very close by, and I was there on time. I expected to have to wait once I checked in but they were ready for me within ten minutes and I was back home by four.

I’ll have time for some supper and then I’m heading out to the library for a tech session on using photos on the web. Maybe I’ll find a photo for tomorrow’s post!
