Between the hum of my sewing machine, the beeping of my iron as it automatically shuts down, and the pile driving at the ferry terminal my ears need a break.

I got a lot done today and my project pile is getting smaller. I have three sets of coasters left to quilt, three sets of microwave bowls left to sew, and I REALLY want to try my pattern for a gift card holder.

I’ll see how the evening session goes. I have a set of placemats to stitch the binding down on and a few knots to bury. It is nice to think that when I am ready to say “I’m done” I can quit knowing I have enough for my end of the sale table.
