Pat had a music “thing” today and I told him I’d help load up his gear into the truck this morning. I slept through that wake-up call entirely, so I went with him to the venue to help him unload. He was hoping to sell some of his extra equipment but I spoke to him a few minutes ago and I’m needed to help him load things back into the truck. Not many sales apparently.

I hoped to get all my placemats done today but, unless I work late into the night, that isn’t going to happen. I have one set quilted, and the second set is all sandwiched, marked for quilting, and I’ve made a start at the quilting lines on a couple of them. I think Pat’s “thing” carries over into tonight so, hopefully, I can at least get the quilting done on the pieces before bed tonight.

I had a lovely chat with Diane and Brian today. They say winter hasn’t arrived there yet, but it is close. It felt a bit like winter here today with grey skies and rain off and on. I can take that kind of winter!
