We didn’t make it to the movie last night. Pat had been fighting a cold all day and he decided he didn’t feel like going out. Since I had arranged a Red Cross spare for my shift today we were able to go this afternoon. I’m not sure Pat is feeling all that much better; he nodded off a lot in the film but he says that was because it was slow to unfold. We saw Fill the Void and I quite enjoyed it. It is the first sub-titled movie we’ve seen in a long time and I always feel as though I’ve read a good book when the movie is over.

I didn’t waste my “extra” evening last night. I cut out several sale projects that I will take to Kathryn’s to work on. I’m less inspired about doing projects for the sale now that my UFOs are mostly finished. I spent the morning working on my Hallowe’en projects. I had hoped to finish them today but I forgot that I have a Guild demo tonight. I’d be tempted to skip, but I offered a ride to a friend so I really can’t let her down at the last minute. I’m sure it will be interesting and I never fail to learn something at these events.

For now though, it’s back to Hallowe’en!
