I stopped at the Red Cross on both ends of my trip to the bee today. I also stopped at the post office to mail a parcel of wool to Calgary. When we Facetimed with Elizabeth and crew on my birthday the kids were making pompom “things” and it looked like they needed more wool (at least one ball for each of them). I know they probably could have bought wool for less than the cost of the parcel, but I promised Gavin some of Grandma’s wool!
We continued to work on our community project at the Guild this week. We had another good turn out with more than our “regular” stitchers. We will miss them if they don’t continue to come when this project is finished.
I arrived home just as Pat was finishing up his teaching. We switched into high gear to get everything done tonight for tomorrow’s concert. Pat got some groceries while I washed the floors, did some dusting and vacuuming. When he got home I started the cleaning downstairs while he set up the space for the performers and added the seating for our guests upstairs.
There are still some tasks left but I think I can manage them (quietly) in the morning.
