I was up early this morning; not unusual for a sewing bee day! My first stop of the morning was at the Post Office. I think I may have been their first customer of the day and I was in and out in less than five minutes. I dropped in at the Red Cross and was so sure I’d be quick that I took a parking spot in the fifteen minute zone. As I was getting out of the car I was given “the look” by others in the main parking lot, but I checked the time and I was back in the car in just over five minutes.
We were doing a special community project at the bee today. My load was a bit lighter but I still had my machine, my rulers, my project bag and my tool box. I also had Margaret’s Quilt with me as it will be in the Fall Fair display. The Guild decorates the exhibit hall every year, but this is the first time I’ve had a quilt to give them. I’m still working on the Guild blog page. I’ve done a lot of rearranging but there isn’t too much new content. I haven’t heard a peep from anyone about the revisions I’ve made so I hope no news is good news
We’ll be heading out again soon as it is Trivia Night at The Hub, co-sponsored by the Library. This will be our third time at the event. The first night, when there were no prizes, we came in first. The second time we came in second and won a free beer tasting at the local brewery. What I’m really hoping for though is third prize. At the last event, third prize was a full bag of books!
