Did I waste my evening yesterday with jigsaw puzzles? I admit to making a few (on my iPad), but I won’t admit that it was a waste of time.
I started my day by changing the light bulb in one of my studio rooms. The light has been burnt out for over a week, but I finally made it to WalMart yesterday and picked up a new one. I had to get a fluorescent bulb and when I went to install it I had a brief moment of worry that the end wouldn’t be the right kind to fit in the fixture. I was okay though and, according to the packaging, I’m good for the next nine years! Does anyone ever test that theory? I’ve dated the part of the packaging that says it will last for nine years and I’ll let you know whether or not it lasts that long – that is if I’m still here (and remember) when the bulb burns out!
I worked on hand stitching most of the day. I finished off a birthday card project and then moved along to sewing some buttons and french knots on a Christmas project. I’m hoping to have that piece done before the end of the day too. I’ve spread my equipment over the kitchen table so I’m okay for the rest of the afternoon, but I’ll have to clean up before I pick up Pat at the airport early this evening.
I have only one day left to complete the goals I set out for myself this month. I haven’t looked at the list for awhile, but I have a feeling one day won’t be enough time.
