I could have been out the door and at the Senior Centre in plenty of time to help set up tables but I was sucked into “just one more” round of Candy Crush Saga! I felt a little guilty, but setting up tables isn’t nearly as much fun!
Even though today was a Project Tuesday with three wonderful summer options, I decided to stick with my Christmas in July theme. I have the fabric bits cut out for all except three gifts. I’m thinking of changing the pattern for those last three so I stopped before I did any cutting for them. I took my sewing machine with me but I was dreaming to think I was going to be able to get any stitches sewn. I could have purchased less fabric than I did for these gifts, but it is nice that they are all going to be different. I won’t get as bored with them as I might if they were all the same. And it doesn’t hurt to add a bit to my stash. In fact, some of the fabrics I’m using are from my stash.
I’m going to take my coffee out to the deck and read until dinner. We rely on NetFlix for our television, but I saw a couple of episodes of Under the Dome on TV when I was at Christy’s and I really enjoyed them. While I was there I ordered the book from the library and it arrived the day I got home. I’m a Stephen King fan, and I’m really enjoying this. It’s over a thousand pages so, although it is an easy read, it won’t be quick.
