Don’t get me wrong – I was in my pajamas for half the day, not in half my pajamas all day! Today was Pat’s last day of teaching so, to celebrate, I stayed in bed until six! I can’t use the Internet while he’s online, and I should have been upstairs quilting. Instead, I sat in my chair and read my book. I got a few things ready for the mail and then got ready for my Red Cross shift.
It was a busy day. A few returns and, with our more stringent cleaning, it takes quite a bit longer. There was some filing to do as well. Since the method for storing some of our information sheets was my idea I felt, now that the supplies had arrived, I should get it done. That way it is done the way I want it, although no one seems to have a problem shifting things around to their liking on their shifts. I had one cranky client on the phone, but I also had one very nice gentleman return some items so it all balanced out.
I’m off to a Guild demo tonight. There will be no stitching involved but I have my pencils, crayons and scissors packed. Our instructor will be showing us a Log Cabin with a Twist.
