Today I was leaning a technique for making a Wonky Star block. I was so tired at the end of the day yesterday I was afraid I wouldn’t be ready for another full day of lessons. I went to bed early last night, there was a completely new set of folks sewing today (except for the hostess and myself) and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. This is the last class for the year – it’s time to finish off a few of these class projects!

The blocks haven’t been squared up yet and there will be a sashing or extra contrasting blocks added but I’m happy with the results so far.

We’re off to a concert tonight and I hope it is rowdy enough to keep me awake!
