I found a pattern for knitted bags to hold gift cards. I had some Christmas yarn so decided to give them a try.

The first bag was knit on very small needles with an odd stitch and it took far too long to finish. I needed a second bag so I used larger needles but it still seemed a lot of work for the results.

I like the lace, knitted with crochet cotton, and I might use that part of the pattern again.
