A lovely day

It was a lovely day if you ignored the wind warning and the heavy rain and hail showers. It seemed to me that the wind was heavier after the warning was over but we didn’t get a ferry until this evening so I guess it was windy on the water. We had periods of quite heavy rain but then periods of sunshine. I think all the wind will blow the weather system somewhere else as we’re to be back to sunshine tomorrow.

I spent most of the day in my studio. I put up the desk on FreeCycle but I haven’t had any interest yet. I decided to hold on to the chair just a bit longer. I thought the height adjuster didn’t work but when I realized I could raise the seat I thought it might work for stitching at the table in the other room. I’ll have to straighten out that room before I’ll know for sure, and I can always offer it later if I decide it won’t be suitable.

I finished a couple more card tops this morning. I hadn’t realized how many birthdays there are in the next few weeks. I worked on some Easter projects this afternoon. I can’t take much credit for those projects though as Ruby is doing all the work. I can’t say what I’m making, but I’m having fun with some decorative stitches.

I’m off to pick Pat up at the airport in a few minutes. It looks like another rain shower is blowing in but there is no fog so the flight should get in. I hope to get my slippers finished tonight because I have some accounting work I need to do tomorrow.
