Our guests left on the noon ferry so I had the afternoon for some “me” time. I don’t have much to show for it though.

I’m still in tidying mode in my studio. I had gone through some patterns yesterday in an attempt to sort out what I wanted to keep and what I thought I should pass along to someone who might use them. Then, wanting to be certain I wasn’t passing along something I really wanted, I quickly went through a box of patterns that I had previously set aside as give-aways. The good news is that I found a couple of patterns I decided to retrieve – the good news being that there were only a couple!

Next I started going through my Real Simple magazines. Before taking too much time on them I realized it was a month-long project in itself. I have them stacked on my bookshelf (with just a few overflowing) and I’ll tackle them from time to time with a cup of coffee in hand.

By this time I really felt I should get something actually tidied. The smallest surface seemed to be my desktop so that’s where I’m at. I did a bit of Guild work, updated a few of my project sheets, and added some overdue items to my website.

Although the afternoon is almost gone, I think I’ll spend some time looking at card patterns for March.
