Just because you are working to a deadline doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a little fun. Here is the label I’m going to use for my tie quilt. The tie is one of Dad’s, and the labels are some that were taken off the dozens of ties I took apart for this project.

I’ve spent the afternoon hand stitching, watching marine traffic and brushing up on my French. I’m listening to Jill Barber’s new french album and next up is Emilie-Claire Barlow’s french offering.
