I was almost ready to head out to BOND today when the phone rang. The other volunteer, Maryanne, called to say that she was available to prepare the lunch. I was planning on pancakes and sausages, but she had turkey soup that she made after our Christmas dinner so she said it would be easy for her. I didn’t argue!

With my extra day I trimmed my Disappearing Nine Patch and got the binding cut and attached. I still have some thread ends to tie in, and the back of the binding needs to be stitched down, but I’m way ahead of where I thought I would be at the end of today. I also have all my entry forms filled out for the quilts I will have in the quilt show, if they are accepted. I need to wait for a couple of photos before handing them in, but I hope to get them tomorrow.

My printer arrived just after lunch but I was so involved in what I was doing that I haven’t even unpacked it. I’ll get at that tomorrow after the bee.
