I was determined to finish Block 12 today and had it done by mid-morning. I could have carried on with Block 14 (Block 13 was finished out of order), but I decided I should finish up the birthday present I have been working on. By the time I had that finished, wrapped and ready for the mail the afternoon had pretty much disappeared.

In spite of the upcoming Yarn Swap on the weekend, I answered a call on Freecycle for someone looking for White Buffalo yarn. I kept my full balls (who knows, I kept some of my patterns), but decided to give up my partially-used packages. The recipient will stop by tonight after supper to pick them up. I had discontinued monitoring the freecycle site for quite awhile and it was good that the first post after rejoining actually had something I could respond to.

I’ll be stitching tonight – it will be ties if we are watching TV or another flower block if Pat goes out.
