Remember this?
By noon I had managed to clean things up, cut up some pieces of batting, rip out a knitting project I wasn’t happy with, and start a new crochet project with the wool. I did a bit of rearranging so I have room (for now) for my yoga mat and my tennis ball. I think I’ll rename this the Therapy Room.
After lunch it was time to move on to the other side of the hall – my studio. I cleared off the top of one of the dressers and rearranged some of my fabric drawers. I’m so lucky that every day I get to pick out a new fat quarter from my Advent bag – I’ve moved my collection into its own bin!
I started to clear off the top of the bookcase and decided I should go through the pattern boxes. I was sure there were lots of patterns that I really wouldn’t want to make anymore. I found a few dated patterns and pattern books (they’ve gone in a bag for the new Powell River Yarn Swap group), but ended up bookmarking (with a paper clip) the many patterns that I would still like to do.
If you venture into my studio you can get in about a foot before you start tripping over things!
