I made some progress with my sewing today, but not as much as I had hoped. I slept in a bit and woke up with a headache. It took a couple of cups of coffee before I even made it up to my studio. I got a bit of stitching done before I started cleaning.
When the cleaning was done (or at least done enough for today) I headed back to my studio and did some online Christmas shopping. And when that was done I thought I’d better clear up a some paperwork and clean out my e-mail. It was time to leave for my Red Cross shift before that was done.
It was a slow day at the Loan Cupboard but there were a couple of ladies puttering around so it wasn’t quiet. There were two new gossip magazines on the desk, but I didn’t get a chance to read them. Hopefully they will still be there next week. After my shift I stopped in to see Margaret. I thought her niece might be there but she had already been and gone.
I did a bit more sewing before dinner but I think I’ll call it a day. I want to try working with some metallic thread and I need to be at my best for that – and usually the morning is my best.
