I don’t know why I put off quilting my projects for so long, or why I seem to always begin the quilting on a Sunday. I’ve been looking at my butterfly quilt for almost two weeks and I couldn’t motivate myself to get it started, but today was the day. I stabilized the rows and all the butterflies are outlined. I have the templates traced onto the top for my next session. I’ll keep at the quilting this week because my Community Quilt is almost ready to be sandwiched, and I don’t want two UFOs in the house at one time.
I finished a few of my cards while I had the right attachment on my machine. I thought I might get some work done on my cross stitch late this afternoon but that didn’t happen. I took some time to make an enlarged copy of the pattern. I’m going to try Kathryn’s method of using a highlighter to cover the rows I’ve completed. I didn’t spend the money on a color enlargement so it might not be any easier.
We had a much cooler day today. When we get a couple of cool days late in August I start to wonder if summer is over. I hope not, but I don’t mind less heat.
We had a couple of TV shows to catch up on tonight so I made a little progress in my knitting.
