My friend Dayle arrived on the noon flight today. I’ve known Dayle for a number of years – she was part of the group that attended the Stage 43 and Arts Club productions in the Lower Mainland. I was laughing today because I had no idea whether she took her coffee black or with cream. In all the time we’ve known each other I don’t think we ever had coffee together. A glass of wine or two – yes, but no coffee!

I took her on a Brewery tour this afternoon. The tour took about five minutes but we got a  taste of the new blackberry beer (which won’t be released to the public until the Blackberry Festival later this month). Although none of us are big beer drinkers, we did come home with a Growler of SunCoast Pale Ale.

We had time for an art exhibit after dinner and then sat on the deck and watched the sun set. We’ve had a lovely day of visiting.
