We woke up to rain this morning instead of our usual blue sky and sunshine. The moisture is good for the plants and I don’t mind the cooler temperatures as long as they don’t last too long.

I finished up the sleeves on my blouse this morning and then walked down to the bookstore to meet a friend for coffee. I see Deb at lots of functions but seldom sit and chat with her for any length of time. We spent more than an hour getting to know each other better – we found we have some similar tastes in books.

When I got home I went back to the studio and finished my blouse. I wish I had it on a list somewhere because I love crossing things off my list. However, the box it was stored in is empty now and I can repurpose it for another project.

I did a bit of paperwork before dinner and, as soon as my coffee is made, I’m going to catch up on one of my TV shows (The Newsroom) and do some knitting,
