When I came up to my studio this morning I had a couple of things I thought I might do. I have the fabric for the binding on my Bargello table topper so I thought I could move ahead on that project. We have guests coming for dinner on Wednesday who want to see our photos from Italy. Thought number two was that perhaps I could get my photos sorted out.

Thought number two won out, and I managed to get one day’s worth of photos finished before Pat called me for lunch. Lunch was very fitting because Pat had made a lovely pasta and sauce, very reminiscent of our meals in Italy. And then, since I spilled some of that lovely sauce on myself, I had to do a load of laundry this afternoon.

I’ve worked on photos for the rest of the day, and I’m still not out of Venice! I’m researching all the photos so it will be easier to put my photo book together. So, with the help of Google, I’m trying to identify by name all the piazzas, buildings, statues, sculptures, etc. that I took photos of.
