Another project from my evening stitching and my goal to use up my yarn.
I’m quite sure this yarn followed me from Yellowknife, through Port Coquitlam and finally to Powell River. I didn’t have enough of it to make one of my standard baby blankets so I found a crochet stitch to use and crossed my fingers that it would turn out to be a good size.
The stitch I used is a shell stitch. It might have been better had I used a larger hook but I’m okay with the results.
This will be a donation to the BOND group. They give out baskets to all the babies born to their members; the Guild has donated several quilts to them so I know they can use blankets of all sorts.
